"Seriously, update your Chrome installs," says Google Chrome security engineer [Justin Schuh](https://twitter.com/justinschuh/status/1103087046661267456), "like, right this minute."   ### **How Do I Upgrade My Google Chrome Browser?** To check the version of Chrome, follow these steps. 1. Click the three stacked dots in the top-right corner. 2. Select “help” towards the bottom of the list. 3. Click on “About Google Chrome,” which will show you the version that is running. If a new version is available, you will be prompted on this page to upgrade. Chrome version **72.0.3626.121** or newer is safe.
